The Araluen Centre for Arts &
Entertainment is the focal point for visual arts for Alice Springs and Central Australia
The magnificent
glass windows in the Araluen foyer are a feature of the Centre.
The major window created by glass artist Cedar Prest was designed by
local Aboriginal artist Wenten Rubuntja and contains three separate yet
interrelated traditional stories (Mparntwe Dreamings) belonging to the
Arrernte Aboriginal people. The smaller stained glass windows in the
foyer were designed and made by students of Yirara College.
